JKA Epsom is affiliated to Japan Karate Association (JKA) and is located at the Epsom Normal Primary School Hall. (see map >)

Instructors Nigel Rayneau and Tao Ah Chee are both Japanese qualified Dan grades with many years of experience.

All ages from 8 years and older are welcome and we have beginners starting all the time.  All you need is shorts and a T shirt and your first introductory lesson is free.  

Karate is a great way to gain confidence, get fit, and learn how to look after yourself.  

We participate in annual NZ championships for all grades.
